Meet Celia Rogers

At Laurel College Consulting, I know that having your teen land at a best-fit university does not happen magically. Using a personalized approach, I help each client build a balanced list of colleges based on your preferences, interests, and the best financial fit. I also help with drafting and editing the personal statement and all supplemental essays, as well as preparing for college visits and interviews. I try to make the process as stress-free for my students as possible, working to help them enroll at colleges where they can thrive academically, socially, and otherwise.

Having passion and drive for what I do are critical components to the positive outcomes that my clients have achieved. I have worked with teens throughout my career, as a high school English teacher and later moving on to college admissions counseling. I founded Laurel College Consulting in 2019 after working at a Denver-area nonprofit as a college counselor for three years, and have guided dozens of students through the college admission process.

I am committed to ethical college consulting, as well as staying current on college admission news and trends. Through my membership in HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association), and CCC (College Consultants of Colorado), I attend professional development conferences, network with other college admissions professionals, and visit college campuses. I hold a BA in English from Georgetown University, a teaching credential and MA in English from California State University, and a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from UC Irvine.

I look forward to working with your family to find your student’s best-fit college or university!
